Materials & manufacturing

All Blasted Prints items are 3D-printed in-house from PLA (polylactic acid) filament using fused deposition modeling (FDM), a layer-by-layer plastic extrusion process. We do not apply any epoxy, resin, coating, or chemical sealant to our products — they are used as printed. FDM printing leaves fine, microscopic layer lines on every surface; this is a normal characteristic of the process, not a defect.

No food-safety certification

Our products have not been laboratory tested or certified for food contact by the FDA or any other body, and we make no claim that they are. Where we describe PLA as “biodegradable,” that refers to the raw material’s composition, not a food-safety or food-contact certification. Any input you receive from us about materials or cleaning is general guidance only, not a safety guarantee.

Intended use

Blasted Prints products are novelty accessories designed for handling dry plant material. They are not intended for eating or drinking from, long-term storage of consumables, medical use, or any use beyond their ordinary purpose as smoking accessories. Products are intended for use by adults 21 and older.

Heat & fire

PLA softens at temperatures as low as about 60 °C (140 °F) and is combustible. Never place a lit or smoldering item in or on any Blasted Prints product — fully extinguish it first. Keep products away from open flame, and do not leave them in a hot car or direct sun.

Care & handling

Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth as needed. Avoid harsh solvents, high heat, dishwashers, or abrasive scrubbing — PLA can soften, warp, or degrade under heat and certain chemicals, which may increase surface wear over time. Stop using any item that is cracked, heavily worn, or shedding material, and reach out to us if that happens.

Products are provided “as is” and are used at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blasted Prints (a Code Hamlet LLC brand) disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, and is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.
